The last meeting of this working group was devoted to "Penitentiary law and MEDA countries". Thanks to the debates and presentations, the participants could get a clear picture of the current situation related to the topics under discussion, among others the practical problems in the field of prisons' management in the MEDA countries.  Some recommendations on this topic were also adopted and were later on presented during the 2nd regional conference held on 19 October 2009 in Brussels.

2019 EUROMED Justice II Project

EUROMED Justice II Project
The European Commission launched a tender for the implementation of a new programme, the EuroMed Justice II Programme (January 2008 – January 2011). This tender was awarded to the consortium led by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and composed of the International and Ibero-American Foundation of Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) and of the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ).
