Title: 3rd meeting of WG 2 Resolution of cross-border family conflicts

This meeting is devoted to the topic: "Establishing the criterion governing jurisdiction in matters of protection of children from mixed marriages according to the international legal framework. Practical ways of preserving custody rights and ensuring children's rights to maintain personal relations with both parents, including visiting rights of the parent who does not have custody". Thanks to an in-depth disussion, participants got a clear picture of the current situation in this field, among others the current situation in the MEDA countries, the applicable law and jurisdiction to decide on this topic, the local authorities' cooperation and the need to improve training on this topic, and a multidisciplinary approach to custody and access rights.

2019 EUROMED Justice II Project

EUROMED Justice II Project
The European Commission launched a tender for the implementation of a new programme, the EuroMed Justice II Programme (January 2008 – January 2011). This tender was awarded to the consortium led by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and composed of the International and Ibero-American Foundation of Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) and of the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ).
