Title: 3rd meeting of WG 3 Criminal and Prison Law

This meeting was devoted to the topic "Technical instruments for international judicial cooperation in criminal matters". Thanks to the fruitful discussions participants could get a clear picture of the current situation related to the different topics at stake, among others: the principles or features prevailing in the field of international judicial cooperation in criminal matters, especially in the European framework. The meeting was also an opportunity to show the networks structure which is currently one of the most efficient mechanisms from an operational and functional viewpoint in order to improve the practice in this field. Finally, the practical problems hampering international judicial cooperation in the MEDA coutries were also explained on this occasion.

2019 EUROMED Justice II Project

EUROMED Justice II Project
The European Commission launched a tender for the implementation of a new programme, the EuroMed Justice II Programme (January 2008 – January 2011). This tender was awarded to the consortium led by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and composed of the International and Ibero-American Foundation of Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) and of the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ).
